The local mapping exercises will lead to the production of local, innovative action plans for the institutions’ teacher education. The overall aim of these action plans is to create a positive and more focused research ethos and culture in the partner institutions, with the ultimate effect of improving teaching and learning for school pupils.
This project focuses on teacher education only but local mapping, action plans and transnational guidelines could profitably have an impact on other education departments within the institutions and beyond.
